VERSE OF THE DAY: If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need
but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?
-- 1 John 3:17
The Leland Presbyterian Church provides many opportunities for spiritual growth and service through fellowship for people of all ages. Junior High and Senior High Fellowship groups meet weekly. Youth are active in local fund raisers, retreats, and conferences both at Montreat, N.C. and Camp Hopewell (Oxford, MS). Two women’s circles meet monthly for study and worship. The Men of the Church meet quarterly for the men’s dinner and also try take a trip to south Louisiana each fall for fishing. Perhaps the most essential and energetic group in the Leland Presbyterian Church is the Presbyterian Women. They were the driving force behind its founding nearly a century ago, and have played an indispensable role in the mission of the church ever since. Our church and community are both better places because of their caring and dedication.
